Quick Setup Guide (Summary)
Here is a quick recap of the steps I cover in the video to get you set up in under 3 minutes:
- Install & Activate: Search for “FormiPay” in your WordPress plugin repository, install, and activate it.
- API Setup: Go to FormiPay > Settings. Choose your gateway (Paystack or Flutterwave) and enter your Public and Secret keys. You can start in “Test Mode” to ensure everything works perfectly before going live.
- Create a Form: Navigate to Payment Forms and click “Create Payment Form.”
- Fixed vs. Flexible: Choose if you want users to enter their own amount (great for donations) or set a fixed price.
- Custom Fields: You can easily add fields to collect extra info, like a WhatsApp number.
- Embed the Form:
- Block Editor: Copy the generated Shortcode and paste it into any page.
- Elementor: Simply search for the “FormiPay” widget and drag it into your design.
- Customize Success Page: The plugin automatically creates a “Donation Success” page, but you can redirect users to any custom “Thank You” page you design.
